   So if I have ATT right now and i switch to T-mobile i wont be able to turn on 3G as long as the package is installed? or is it only when your on t-mobile and you unlock? thank you very much!

   I have an iPhone 3GS. The model is MC136LL and the Firmware is 05.13.04. It’s running on iOS4. Is there a jailbreak/unlock coming out for my device anytime soon?

    I unlocked my 3GS on 3.x and then upgraded to 4.0
    is my unlock still there sense i did it on 3.0?

    @ipodtouchhelper1 Okay, in a few days I’m going to be buying a iPhone 3GS that is running 4.0 on AT&T. The phone hasn’t ever been jailbroken or unlocked for any other carrier, but I wonder how I’m going to get the phone to operate on T-Mobile with 4.0 after he restores it? Should he even restore it right away? I don’t want the task to be daunting I want it to be quick as possible maybe we should unlock it now so when I buy it I can switch out the SIMs? Please help… I just want it to be quick.

    dude the link you added for tutorial he said itonly works with iphone 3g and ipod touch 2nd gen and nothing else. so it doesnt work with 3gs?
