i was reading up on this, i guess u couldnt do what i suggested unless u had the sim card u had when ur iphone was activated….sorry i was no help

ue a dummy card. i got one with my old razor a year or so ago so i can transfer stuff via bluetooth from my old razor to my new one. it let me use the phone (said insert sim without it) but i had no network access. im guessing ur using another provider with ur iphone? ask a friend thats on Att to get a dummy sim card for u. hope it helps. and im sure it will work

my iphone got locked when i update it in itunes and according to the phone i need to have a valid sim card in order to activate the iphone got any suggestion with this??
