Iphone Unlock Tutorial & Step by Step Walkthrough utilising PwnageTool for Mac OS X.

Unlock Step One
Download the PwnageTool install file for Mac OS from here to your desktop.

Unlock Step Two
Double click the downloaded file(PwnageTool_1.0.zip) to extract PwnageTool.
Unlock Step ThreeDouble click PwnageTool to launch the program from your Desktop.

Unlock Step Three & Four
If actuated that PwnageTool is the application that was downloaded from the
internet click the Open button.

Unlock Step Five
If you’d like PwntageTool to automatically check for update then click the Yes
button.

Unlock Step Six
Click the Browse .ipsw button in PwnageTool.

Unlock Step Seven
A window will come along in which you should select the .ipsw file for the
firmware you would like to unlock then click the Open button.
If you don’t have the firmware .ipsw file you will be able to find its download
location here.

Unlock Step Eight
Click the iPwner button which will instantly be activated!

Unlock Step Nine
You will be called for to link up your iPhone and put it into recovery mode.

The most lenient way to do this is to hold down your Sleep/Wake button for 3
seconds. The power slider will appear. Slide this to the right to off your
iPhone. Then hold down the Home button as you link up the iPhone to the dock.
After a a couple of seconds the recovery screen will appear. (iTunes logo and
cable).

Unlock Step Ten
PwnageTool will then let you know your phone is being pwned and to please wait
for a reboot.

Unlock Step Eleven
When your iphone has completely rebooted click the IPSW Builder button in
PwnageTool.

Unlock Step Twelve
From the menu that appears choose:

- Enable baseband update

- Neuter bootloader

- Unlock baseband

- Activate phone

After this click the OK button.

Unlock Step Thirteen

IPSW Builder will now call you for the bootloader images.

Download bootloaders.rar from here onto your Desktop. Double click this to
extract its contents.

Mirrors: Filebeam, MediaFire, Direct

Click the browse button for the bootloader 3.9 image and choose BL-39.bin file
from your Desktop.

Select the browse button for the bootloader 4.6 imagefile and select
BL-46.bin file from your storage.

Click OK.

Unlock Step Fourteen
IPSW will pop-up for you to select where to save the customised ipsw file. Click
the Save button.

Unlock Step Fifteen
IPSW Builder will then necessitate you to login using your administrator
username and password. Do this click the OK button

Unlock Step Sixteen
PwnageTool will then point you that IPSW Builder has accomplished with success.

Unlock Step Seventeen
Launch iTunes using its icon in the dock if its not already open.

Unlock Step Eighteen
Select your iPhone from the list on the left. Hold down the Option and click the
Restore button.

Unlock Step Nineteen
Select the custom firmware file (iPhone1,1_1.1.4_4A102_Custom_Restore.ipsw) we
just made and click the Open button.

Unlock Step Twenty
iTunes will then restitute to our new custom-made firmware.

Unlock Step Twenty One - DONE !!!
When iTunes restore is complete your iPhone will reboot and autolaunch
BootNeuter. BootNeuter will then carry on to Flash Bootloader and Flash Baseband.
Do not disrupt this cognitive process. Once BootNeuter is done it will reboot
the iPhone on its own and your Pwnage process will be complete!
