Unlock iPhone iLiberty 1.2 (Windows)
These are instructions on how to unlock, jailbreak and activate your iPhone using iLiberty+ and Windows XP or Vista.
Before following these instructions you should have already made a backup of your iPhone. You should have the iPhone connected to your dock/computer and iTunes should have detected the iPhone.
Step One in Unlocking your Iphone
Download latset version of iLiberty+ (current version 1.2) from bu clicking this link:

Copy and paste the URL above in your browser and save the iLiberty install file to your desktop.
Step Two in Unlocking your Iphone. Just getting Started!
Double click the downloaded file (iLibertySetup_1.2.0.65.exe) on your desktop to launch the install program.
Step Three in Unlocking your IPhone by yourself. There we go!
Click the Next button to begin installation.
Step Four in Iphone Unlock Process.
Select the location to install iLiberty+ in and click the Next button.
Step Five In Unlocking your Iphone. Almost half way… keep up!
Enter a name for the iLiberty+ Start Menu Folder and click the Nextbutton.
Step Six in Unlocking your Iphone.
Check the box if you would like to add a iLiberty+ icon to your desktop then click the Next button.
Step Seven in Unlocking your Iphone.
Finally, click the Install button.
Step Eight in Unlocking your Iphone.
Once installation is complete you will be given the option to launch iLiberty+. Check the box next to Launch iLiberty+ then click the Finish button.
Step Nine in Unlocking your Iphone.
iLiberty+ will open onto the standard tab.
Check the operations you would like to perform. If you are unlocking you would most likely choose all 5 options!
Step Ten in Unlocking your Iphone. Almost done… really!
Click to select the Payloads tab. From here you can select additional payloads to install while unlocking or jailbreaking. We will leave this alone for now and go back to the Standard tab. Note***: A tutorial on how to download and install payloads will be posted in the near future.
Step Eleven in Unlocking your Iphone.
Click the Go for it! button from the Standard Tab to begin.
Next I got a message that asked me to disconnect then reconnect my iPhone and click the OK button.
Final Step Twelve in Unlocking your Iphone.
You will then notice a status bar appear. Unfortunately, mine only displayed until around 13% and then disappeared. No worries though, the unlock procedure continued and finished successfully. I was not notified that it did by the software. Just watch your iPhone until it comes to rest at the “Slide to unlock” screen.

I bought a new unlocked iphone and unfortunatly made upgade which caused the phone to be unlocked again, Can iliberty help unlocking the phone? I followedd the steps till step #10 (Go for it) but I got the below message
“Error communicating with device make sure device is in NORMAL mode retry once if the problem persists please restart iliberty”
Can you help please?

ok heres my problem, i have an iphone 3g that my dad used like a year ago, it doesnt have a sim card because i dont have at&t but my dad jailbroke it when he owned it, then he unjailbroke it. idk if that has to do with anything but i cant update my iphone software. i have version 2.2.1 and i cant update to 3.1. but i was trying to jailbreak my iphone 2day and when i was putting it on my phone somehow it went to a screen that said insert sim and it said slide 4 emergency. i mean ive seen this screen before and i could get out of it usually by turning it on and off. idk if attempting at jailbreaking my iphone has to do with anything but yeah i cant get back to the regular screen. and now im stuck in recovery mode and iliberty says disconnected. so help please?
