Unlock iPhone iLiberty 1.2 (Mac OS)
These are unlock instructions on how to unlock or make your Iphone Simlock free, jailbreak and activate your iPhone using iLiberty+. With this software you are able to use your Iphone with any provider. This online unlock manual is especially for MAC OS. On this unlock website you will be find unlock software/guides and tips for several operation systems.
Ready to unlock your Iphone? Before following these instructions you should have already made a backup of your iPhone. You should have the iPhone connected to your dock/computer and iTunes should have detected the iPhone!
Step One in Unlocking Your Iphone
Download the software iLiberty+ 1.2 from this download link

Copy and paste the URL above into your browser and save the destination unlock software to your computer.
Step Two in Unlocking Your Iphone. Just starting!
Double click the downloaded file (iLibertyX.dmg) on your desktop.
Step Three in Unlocking Your Iphone
Make sure your Iphone is connected and double click the iLiberty icon to launch the unlock program.
NOTE***: You could also drag this icon into your Applications folder to permanently install it.
Step Four in Unlocking Your Iphone
You will be warned that you downloaded iLiberty+ from the internet. Click the Open button.
Step Five in Unlocking Your Iphone. Going smooth, keep up!
The unlocking software iLiberty+ will open onto the standard tab. Where your can select several unlock options and enter the Iphone Unlock Help.
Check the unlocking options you would like to be perform on your Iphone. If you like a complete simlock free Iphone you would most likely choose all 4 unlocking options to be preformed on your Iphone!
Step Six in Unlocking Your Iphone
Select the Payloads tab. From here you need select additional payloads to install while unlocking or jailbreaking your Iphone. We will leave this untouched for now and go back to the Standard tab.
Note***: We will provide you an tutorial on how to download and install payloads in the nearby future.
Step Seven in Unlocking Your Iphone, almost done!
Click the “Free My *GB iPhone!” button to begin the final Iphone unlocking process. After this process your Iphone will be complety simlock free.
Final Step in Unlocking Your Iphone
Once the unlocking of your Iphone is completed you will see an “Enjoy!” confirmation message. Click the OK button to enjoy your newly unlocked iPhone, simlock free!!
DONE! Your iPhone is now unlocked by iLiberty+ (Mac version)

Does this online unlock guide supports all versions of iLiberty? And is there also guide for dummies?? I am a woman and love my iphone but cannot use it right now because I am to stupid to unlock it and don’t want to break it

Hello Lyn (IphoneLyn),
This is the lastest version of my Mac guide for iLiberty+. I will keep this post up to date if software updates arrive. Unlock guide for dummies?? No but i will give you advice to get you started and e-mailed you detailed iLiberty instructions. If this isn’t enough PM me for my MSN details.
This MAC unlock guide will help you UPDATE and unlock your phone to work on the latest versions. First you need to restore your iPhone via iTunes to the latest version(do not save a backup), after that follow step 1, to put it into restore mode, then restore once more(this is for techinical reason, after that follow the instuctions on step 2 to unlock your phone.

I cannot launch iLibertyX for mac I get the same error every time “application quit unexpectedly”

I tryed to unlock my new 3G 16 GB iPhone. I work with the latest iTunes 8.0 on OSX 10.4.11. I connected the iPhone to the apple computer and started iLiberty+. I could only activate Jailbreak but not the other 3 boxes “activate, unlock and unlock with 3.9 So I started it anyway but it only went to the point of “Entering recovery mode”, there it got stuck. Do I need to downgrade to 1.1.4 first as recomended by iLiberty+? Would it help to use a friends sim card by “Swisscom”, the native provider because at the moment I can’t get into the menue on the iPhone at all? I would highly apreciate your advice, thanks.
